The Litchfield Park Recreation Center serves the general public year-round and has an onsite Preschool, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, and a weight room. The facility also has outdoor pools (main pool and small kiddie pool) open during the summer months from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend to offer open swim for the public's enjoyment as well as swim lessons and aquatics programming.

Effective October 1, 2024, A Community Affair Farmers Market will be set up in the south parking lot of the Rec Center every Saturday morning from 9am-1pm. Public parking for the farmers market is available in the north parking lot next to the Litchfield Park Library.
