Pelican Park/Recreation District #1
Recreation District #1/Pelican Park consists of 32 athletic fields, a 3-court gym, a 4-court gym, paved roads, walking/health trail, dog park, skate park, sand volleyball courts, 18-hole disc golf course, parking for over 1,700 vehicles and our 46,000 square foot multi-purpose Castine Center. Our newest addition to the Park is The Groves includes 8 outdoor lighted pickleball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, boardwalk, pond, green space and a family fun game area which consists of 2 horseshoe courts, 2 bocce courts, 2 shuffleboard courts and a new open-air pavilion called Pelicans Landing. Pelican Park is only closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
