Mae Stecker Park
Mae Stecker Park's playscape was erected in 1997 with financial assistance from the Shelby Township Fraternal Order of Police. The tennis courts and sand volleyball courts provide activities for the summer, while a lighted, portable ice rink is placed in the park during the winter.
Other features of this park include two lighted softball diamonds with electronic scoreboards and dugouts, 2 state of the art surface basketball courts, donated by the Atherton Foundation in 2012, a 1.5 mile hiking trail, picnic tables, 2 tot-lots, a small picnic shelter, a single barbecue grill, and restrooms.
On the eastern edge of Mae Stecker Park is the Onyx Tree Trail. Enjoy the beauty of nature through the trees found on this trail.
