Historic Thompson Park was originally founded in the early 1900s. Thompson Park is a Historic Olmsted Creation, located in the heart of Watertown and has some of the most scenic viewpoints in Jefferson County. It is home to the Watertown Golf Club, Zoo New York, and the 10th Mountain Division Monument. The park has a creative playground, walking and exercise trails, pool and splash pad, tennis courts, soccer field, stone pavilion and stairways and more!
