Lake Tomahawk Park provides users a place to play, walk, swim, gather, commune and relax within a 16.3-acre parcel located centrally in Black Mountain. Lake Tomahawk is fed by Tomahawk Branch and spans 8.9 acres in size. Lake Tomahawk Park features amenities such as a pavilion, fishing pier, playground, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, public restrooms and a walking trail. The walking trail is .55 of a mile and is the most used amenity at Lake Tomahawk. The pavilion was built in 1993 and features ten picnic tables and one small charcoal grill.
