Family owned and operated, Courtside West is one of Richmond's longest running Racquet Clubs with a story that started back in the late 1970s. Designed and built in 1978 by founding partners, C. Page Highfill, AIA Emeritus (retired) and William Smith, AIA Emeritus (retired) -- Courtside West has provided the Greater Richmond Area with a private, yet welcoming, indoor multiplex for racquet enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. For nearly 25 years, Page and his wife, Kate, ran Courtside West alongside a host of Richmond Tennis icons. Flash forward three generations, and Page's two sons and grandson now operate the Club.
